What’s better than improving your productivity or increasing the ways you’re able to interact with your data? The answer, of course, is nothing. That’s why people have been using Power BI with Quick Base for years. But with a recent release, the way Power BI interacts with Quick Base has changed for the better. This blog will highlight the new Power BI connector while showing you how VeilSun’s expertise can make it matter for you.image

So, what’s all the hubbub about? Quick Base recently released a certified Power BI connector that allows you to pull data from Quick Base into Power BI. This is significant because it opens up hundreds of different report types that you can report on Quick Base data. Not only that, the connector allows you to mash it up with data from other systems. It enhances the Quick Base reporting capability because Quick Base has always been very table-centric (meaning you could only report on one data set at a time). But now, that’s in the past.

This new certified Power BI connector lets you aggregate data from multiple places and multiple applications within Quick Base along with data from other systems, like your marketing automation system or your ERP. You can then review all of it within an easy-to-use dashboard and then slice it and dice it into hundreds of types of reports. It’s easy to see why Power BI is a must have supplement to your Quick Base world.

But here’s the rub: while the new Power BI connector makes it really easy to pull your data in from multiple applications, you’re still going to need someone with enough expertise to make sure you’re getting the most out of it. And that’s where VeilSun comes in. Our experience with PowerBI can get your data into your hands in a variety of different ways, ultimately helping to improve productivity and enhance insights.

As always, if you’d like to learn more about the new certified Power BI connector, please contact us. We’d love to chat!
